The Role

You will be the face of our headquarters in San Mateo! You will do more than simply answer phones and greet visitors. The Office Coordinator is a vital member of the SurveyMonkey team. This is a job for a take-charge person who can juggle multiple projects, support various teams, while being the first point of contact for company visitors.

 

Responsibilities

  • Answer, screen and direct calls and visitors
  • You will ensure that the reception area is staffed and secure at all times
  • Receive incoming packages and monitor the mailroom
  • Process and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail
  • You will order and maintain inventory of office supplies (shipping)
  • Assist with the monitoring and distribution of facility requests
  • Ensure copy rooms and break rooms are fully stocked and everything is in working order
  • Provide administrative support to the Admin and Facilities team.
  • You will assist with company-wide events
  • Issue the Caltrain Go passes and bike vouchers and any other transportation arrangements.
  • Coordinate and assist with in-house vendors requests

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of work experience in a fast-paced office environment, preferably for a technology company
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook
  • Highly organized and self motivated with a can-do attitude
  • Creative problem-solver with strong ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Approachable, friendly and willing to help out in other areas
  • Willing to take on new challenges with a positive attitude
  • Take pride and ownership of the front desk
